FD-7 DAKAR - Anse Bernard et Hôpital

Our next card, FD-7, is interesting in that it was initially uncatalogued and represented a gap in part 1 of the Philippe David Inventaire, only the number being given as a place holder. This was corrected in part 2. The legend describes the scene as 'DAKAR - Anse Bernard et Hôpital'. Posted in Carabane, Senegal on 26 September 1902, it carries a message, written on the face to an address in Paris, "In front of the hospital, at the bottom is the quarantine station. This is what has to be put up with? Further, a dirty country so to speak!"
